Self & Family Care
One of the greatest features of SBT is that it enables very simple and effective self-care and family care. The methods are diverse, including meridian stretches that can be done without any tools, attaching herbal grains to specific acupoints depending on the symptoms and purpose, and care techniques using bamboo instruments and medicinal herbs. These practices help improve circulation of lymph and blood throughout the body, replenish energy to reduce fatigue, and allow individuals to actively work on improving various symptoms themselves.
Training for professional SBT-therapist
SBT organizations around the world are currently seeking trainees who wish to become professional SBT therapists. The training includes conventional medical knowledge, traditional Asian natural medicine, and SBT’s original medical theories and techniques. With a highly efficient and well-structured training system, trainees are able to steadily develop practical skills as therapists. Training Course Information
It is possible to enroll in either the KOHKI Therapy course or the SBT course individually; however, please note that post-training activities will be limited according to the scope of each respective program.
Those who complete both therapeutic courses will be granted certification as an SBT Meister, and will be able to participate in all SBT activities without restriction.
Each unit consists of 2 hours.
The number of units listed for each course refers to the minimum required units, excluding review sessions.
The total number of units and study hours are comparable to those required for advanced or specialized therapist qualifications in general. At our organization, however, the entire training program is designed to be completed as an intensive course within one year, conducted primarily at the Fuji Training Center in Japan.
Trainees are welcome to stay at the center free of charge during the program.
Upon completing the training curriculum, participants will continue their development over 1 - 5 years by working as on-site assistants at SBT clinics and therapy centers around the world. Just like in standard medical professions based on conventional medicine, practical experience and clinical training are regarded as essential steps for building real competence.
At SBT Group, we consider training to be an investment of time and energy into nurturing the next generation of professionals who will carry our mission forward. Our responsibility does not end with the issuance of a certification.
We remain committed to guiding each trainee until they are able to work independently as a certified professional therapist—capable of facing and resolving patients’ problems on their own.
If you are interested in applying for the training, please read the application guidelines carefully.
If you meet the qualifications we are looking for, complete the application form and submit it to us by email.
Applicants who pass the first stage of selection (document screening) by the SBT headquarters will proceed to the second stage (interview with staff members). Upon passing the interview, your training will begin.
We at the SBT Group sincerely welcome applications from those who wish to contribute to a better world by healing the bodies and minds of people—through a new form of natural therapy practiced on a global stage, as dedicated healthcare professionals.
